I’ve got 4 girls and this is something I always think about. My wife does all the clothes shopping and she does a pretty good job. No bare tummy’s, no sassy/rude sayings, no short-shorts, no words on the butt. Just nice looking, cute stuff.

May I also recommend True Girl Magazine? This magazine is aimed at Catholic girls, ages 12-19, and is a brilliant alternative to the usual sex-filled teen magazine like Teen Vougue and Seventeen. Lots of fun and fashion as well as Catholic catechesis. My sixteen-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoys it.

Do you know about Colleen Hammond’s book, and website, Dressing with Dignity? It is quite good and has links to a lot of different vendors (some well known, others not so) of modest clothing.
