I’ve been meaning to post more of the inspiring and insightful quotes I come across in all my blog and book reading, and Catholic Mom’s latest post is the perfect one to start with. It’s a great follow-up to my last post, and something I certainly need to think more about:

That reminded me of a little poem I wrote in high school in the midst of a challenging illness. i thought I’d share it with you.
Tears
I bid my tears to them that weep in silence.
For far above the outward cries of pain,
Are the few contented smiles and sighs toward heaven,
Sympathy lacked, but strength in abundance gained.
