I am profoundly grateful for the moment that my twins’ birthmother looked at her 6 week old “fetuses” on the ultrasound screen and came to the inescapable conclusion that they were two human beings and that God had a plan for them. She too, had been raised in a world that told her that they were less than human and had believed it, now she sees the value in every life.

And because of that, the monstrous evil of a rape has been transformed into something beautiful in her life and in ours.

I was always on the fence about abortion – until I had my first child in my mid-40s. Never having been in the position of having to make that choice, I didn’t feel like I could make it for those who did find themself with an unwanted pregnancy. Of course, my feelings changed once I saw my own child on the sonogram.

Your article over at National Review was one of the best pro-life treatises I have ever read. Just excellent

Congratulations on the link, but more so on writing such a wonderful and intelligent article. I can not for the life of me understand how other well educated individuals can completely miss the boat on what abortion means. Good for your and your husband for re-examining your lives and coming around to the place where you can stand in the presence of our Lord and feel good about what you have done in witnessing to all you could reach about such things.

Truths are needed today. Muslims teach that Jesus was never crucified. Promote the Shroud of Turin website. Encourage bishops to meet at Fatima regarding Mary’s specific request -as Putin is still communist. Promote Humanae Vitae, –free on the web download.
This war can end when we honor Mary’s logical requests. The Rosary contradicts Muslim’s view of Jesus’ as Savior, and Trinity.
