The loss of Michael Dubruiel
Like everyone else in the Catholic blogworld, I was shocked and saddened when I read Amy Welborn’s post yesterday announcing the sudden, unexpected death of her husband, author and blogger Michael Dubruiel. For those of you looking for ways to help their family in this time of need, Danielle Bean has more info here. Please keep them in your prayers.

I’ve been Catholic all my life. Never missed mass once. But as an adult sometimes I sit in mass wondering what I’m doing or why Catholics do “this” or “that”. Today I was saddened to hear the loss of Michael but celebrated his new life with Christ by going to his website and seeing a book by him I’d never seen before and purchasing it right there on the spot. I will learn from it and his memory will live on in me.
I said a prayer.
God bless him and his family. St. Paul says “do not grieve like those who have no hope”. Thessolonians
The family is in my prayers…
