7QT Friday tomorrow
Just wanted to pop in to say that we’re on for 7 Quick Takes Friday tomorrow! That format is just what I need to put some scattered thoughts down after a crazy week. I look forward to hearing what’s been going on with everyone else as well!

Yay Jen! Thanks for being so faithful to us. I had my 16-week appointment yesterday and so far we have a healthy baby, gender TBD (to be discovered) by the end of the month! It was so exciting to read about the safe delivery of Baby #4 on Monday. God bless you immensely – can’t wait to hear all about it! And God-willing I will be right behind you with my first baby in August. Closing the in the gap!

Jen, I did a little research on your bf pain and I may have at least an explanation for you. It may well be that it is the result of the milk ejection reflex being so strong in the first few weeks (the pressure is greater than than later on). Expressing before you put the baby to breast may (and the emphasis is on the MAY) help. Also it sometimes doesn’t happen in later lactations even if it did in earlier ones. We’ll pray that that is the case this time.
