This was a wonderful interview, thank you for posting it.

It made me think about how taking our marrige vocation seriously, and truly aiming to do what God would have us do, makes a big difference in our joy in that life too. We've been focusing on that for a few years and the change has been amazing.

I loved hearing from a young priest too. I hope there will be many more like him. So many parents these days do not want their children to follow that path. As we approach the arrival of our first little boy, I want to be sure to remember that God is the one with a plan for him, not me. I would be very proud of him if he chose to be a priest.

Jennifer

Thank you for posting such an inspiring interview! Brother James' story and words are so heartening to read as I continue my journey toward Christianity and toward the Catholic Church. I found what he had to say about celibacy to be especially moving.

I have LOVED this series of conversations. I too was a late-in-life convert (raised Jewish) and found his candor and honesty about his journey inspiring and refreshing. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Jennifer,

I've always been interested in the thoughts of celibates and priests. Their journeys have so much to teach all of us.

Thanks.
