Thanks for sharing your journay, Jenn. I try to read your posts as often as possible and regarding tihs, especially, I have a question that I lways have into my head: Why does God accept the suffering of human beings?. Why does He do nothing when children are killed or abussed or when any other horrible crime is comitted?.

I think, also, that even when hard times come due to we human beings using our free will to make bad decisions that harm us or others, even THEN, God always gives us the opportunity to use the present situation for good. To grow, to help others, to learn more about life, and to continue to discern His mission for each and every one of us.

That is why, I suppose, there is always hope in Him. No matter how much we might have failed or believe we have failed, He is always there, if we are only ready and willing to acknowledge Him, repent, and return.

My charismatic friend, Sara, is very good with this. In great things and small, in occasions very much to her liking or downright repulsive to her, she can (and does) exclaim genuinely, "Praise God for this opportunity to grow!"
